Seems like a motel that has had a makeover, but a nice one though. Just stayed one night but got to enjoy the pool area and the restaurant at night. The food and service was great at the hotel restaurant.

Enjoyable stay for Newport Jazz Festival

We stayed there for the Newport Jazz Festival. The hotel doesn't look fancy on the outside but once you are inside, it gives a little bit of posh and whimsy. The staff is really friendly however there is limited staff during quietier times (before 8am etc...). The restaurant is pretty good and the bartenders are really on top of things. We enjoyed our room which faced the pool. Enjoyable stay.

Travel to Wayfinder Inn!

We had a great stay at Wayfinder. It’s just outside the city of Newport. We brought our dog and he enjoyed seeing other dogs. The barista team were Fabulous. I’ll miss my morning latte.

The place is a maze. There was no elevator and it was difficult to find our room and we had to carry our heavy suitcases up multiple sets of stairs. Once you found the room, the room was clean and comfortable.

We went to breakfast once at the restaurant there and didn’t go back. Overpriced and the pancake was not a normal pancake and was undercooked. Our bed was comfortable, however, our room was cleaned in the evening. So had to ask for essentials. That was unusual.

First the place barely resembles what is shown on line. If you go know that room 119 is essentially a basement room with windows looking out to the ac compressor which sounds like a small air plane every 20 minutes. As for the restaurant the good news is the food we ordered was good. Unfollow the menu is limited to 4 snacks 4 salads 4 entrees and a couple of deserts. One night stay was ok but I would’ve recommend the place.

Lovely stay in Newport

The Wayfinder was a great place for our two night stay in Newport. The beds were comfortable and we liked that it seemed recently updated. The pool area was very nice, too. Staff were friendly. The rooms are set up in a confusing way that leads to getting lost, but you get used to it and the staff will give you a helpful map upon arrival. I guess it’s aptly named! I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for a balcony room because they overlook the parking lot. The location is a bit further from downtown/Thames Street than I would have liked, not walking distance, but it’s sort of between the Mansions and downtown. Overall, a great stay!
