The staff and level of attention to detail was excellent. The room we were assigned to (#770) had problems with the bathroom electrical short circuiting. Immediately we were moved to a room #768, which was a better and larger room. Additionally, we were sent a hand written note and along with a fruit bowl and gifts apologizing for the inconvenience. This, coupled with outstanding service, made our stay at Hotel Hermitage a memorable one. One special mention is warranted regarding your concierge, Vincent. He was a delight to interact with, being the amiable, knowledgable and helpful person that he is. Please let him know his time was much appreciated.

Gorgeous hotel with views

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was beautiful. My room had a view of the harbor from both balconies. I want to thank Marcel at the front desk for giving me a tour of the property when I checked in. The restaurant Pavyllion was amazing. The only improvement that can be made is the bathrooms need a little renovation/upgrade. Housekeeping was the best, discreet and quiet. No commotion in the hallway, which is excellent.

Nice location, and a prestigious time-honored hotel. The historic splendor is a bit fading, though. What is slightly substandard is the bathroom amenities. The only more serious disappointment was the quality of the breakfast buffet - fairly mediocre. On the positive side, the personnel was, without exception, top.

Opulence and Comfort in Monte Carlo

We weren't sure where to stay in Monaco as we had never been to the area, but after looking into options and reading the great reviews we opted for Hotel Hermitage. We could not have been more pleased. The hotel is absolutely stunning - with its breathtaking architecture and opulent decor. Our room was spacious, comfortable, elegant, and remarkably quiet. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The lovely patio was a wonderful place to relax on chaise lounges. The location is perfect as we were steps away from the famous Monte Carlo casino, tons of shopping and eating options, and the beautiful marina with all of the yachts. I used the spa, which was quite busy but beautiful and modern. We also ate at the Michelin-starred restaurant Pavyllon and had one of the best meals we have had in recent years with perhaps the best views we have ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel!

Very helpful staff like Alicia at the front desk and a person with eyeglasses at the bell captain desk across from the registration desk (did not get the name). Both went above and beyond and all were polite. The front doormen were not always helpful when we asked for a cab or missed the shuttle- it wasn’t their problem. The room was nicely adorned and updated and was very clean. Cleaning staff were pleasant and meticulous. Breakfast in the room was not what was expected eg fruit platter consisted of a unripe big nectarine and a ripe kiwi, both whole on a bread plate! Overall a nice hotel, nice staff for the most part. A little conveyer belt feeling.

Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo: Unforgettable Experience I recently stayed at the breathtaking Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. From the moment I arrived, the property exuded elegance and charm, blending sophistication with modern luxury. The spa was a standout highlight. I had a lymphatic drainage massage that was not only incredibly effective but also profoundly relaxing. The spa facilities themselves are world-class, offering a serene escape amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Monaco. I had an opportunity to visit three different Michelin star restaurants while in Monaco, and the on-site restaurant, Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, a Michelin-star restaurant, was the absolute star of the show. Watching the chefs prepare each dish added an element of excitement and liviness to the meal. The food was exquisite and the service was equally exceptional, attentive, fun and warm. The overall spirit of the hotel is what sets it apart. It’s a perfect blend of kindness, class, and upbeat energy that makes every guest feel special. Whether enjoying the fine dining, the relaxing spa, or simply enjoying the ambiance of the hotel every moment at Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo was pure perfection. I can’t wait to return!

Gym well equipped and breakfast very fresh and rich of variety. Staff very pleasant and at your constant disposition especially in the entrance and at the lobby bar! Great service and great pastries.
