Good choice for a budget-friendly trip

We spent just an overnight trip to the beach. The location was a good choice,, the staff was efficient and friendly, the room was basic, but internet was provided, there were snacks in the check-in area, plenty of parking, room was equipped with fresh towels and soaps, clean room, comfortable bed, refrigerator, tv. It was a good choice for a quick stay.

Great budget hotel in good location

Great hotel on a budget. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and recliner, mini fridge and microwave, dehumidifier, coffee, water, pastries, and snacks in the lobby. 3 floors with elevator. 7-10 minutes to the beach. Convenient location off the main road, yet still quiet. Italian restaurant right next door. If you stay 2 nights or more and choose to skip housekeeping, they give you a $25 refund at the end. Excellent all around!

Not what you might expect

Just a little different than the usual hotel/motel ("lobby" and "breakfast" area, but well worth the price for the surrounding area. Room was clean and didn't show signs of wear. Shower was excellent; great water pressure and very well kept. The hotel offers a very good discount on the next stay.

Well, of course we're grading on a scale... I'm not comparing this to a resort hotel on the island.. but compared to most Days inns or Best Western economy chains that I've been to this facility was better kept and cleaner than the vast majority of those. I was comfortable throughout.

Clean & the staff was helpful & friendly. Breakfast was only muffins, donut, green bananas & apples. They had bottled water & coffee available free & a couple types of candy bars. Don’t think the pool was usable-no water & had weeds grown up around it. Rooms were clean & served the purpose. TV was difficult to get to work but was mostly in room to sleep & shower. Would probably stay again but the pictures are misleading. You get what you pay for!

One of a kind stay at Hilton Head

We have stayed at this property off and on for years as the Ramada Inn. As simple Rewards our stay was interesting to say the least. The office is in one of the hotel rooms on the bottom floor. They don’t have a breakfast area, but the room is full of all kinds of food that you are welcome to come and get whenever you want items such as bananas, candy bars, protein bars, plenty of bottled water , Muffins , coffee, cake, coffee, with good creamers every morning. The property is old and a lot of it is out of date. The elevator is a hot mess. The beds were very comfortable, but there was a sofa in the room with crochet deer and stuff on it like from the 1950s. they make up for things like this by giving you large size shampoos and body soap, sanitary wipes, and paper towels. The room was very clean and had a medium size refrigerator and a a water condenser machine which was full of water at the end of every day. They also have a microwave and a TV. The pool was closed the entire weekend we were there, but we were also given a discount at check-in because of that. The rooms were very clean.

The room was very comfortable, the floors were of light wood tile, not carpet, which is nice, the room had an air purifier, large TV with plenty of channels to choose from. The shower had great water pressure with large shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. This made a difference compared to the small containers that you get at most hotels. Location was perfect! Walmart directly across the street, as well as Wendy's and burger kind. There's a fine dining Italian restaurant that joined the structure of the property. Over all a good bargain for your dollar, and for an "INN" is was very clean and quiet. I will definitely stay agsin

This "motel" was not as described on the website! Check-in staff was rude! Someone was smoking pot in the room next door, even though this is supposed to be a "non-smoking" property. There were sketchy people standing around. It appears to be an extended stay motel. Very dated! I reserved a room online, checked in at 10 pm and paid for the room. However, I did not stay...I went back to check-in and requested a refund.

To whom this may concern. I made a reservation for 5/2-5/3. I spoke to someone named Noah at the property to let him know I would be arriving between 3am - 5am as I would be driving an 11 hour drive from Philadelphia, PA and wanted to make sure I would have some place to stay. When I arrived at the hotel, there was an Indian gentleman sitting through a see through glass door and window. I entered the facility on the other side through another door. Upon entering, the man never slid the sliding window open to speak to me. We were yelling back and forth because we couldn't hear each other. I was never even greeted properly. It was extremely poor and unkind service for a customer who had properly reserved a room and was exhausted after an 11 hour drive. I was in town to attend my granddaughter's graduation in Parris Island SC. The attendant told me I was not allowed to be checked in until 10a. I told him the service started at 9a, that wouldn't work. I told him I had spoken to Noah and that Noah said no worries, I would be accommodated. He said he didn't know what I was talking about and went back to being on his phone. I said, "Sir, are you serious, I have no where to go and in 4hrs I have a graduation to attend, I need a room, please!?" I was told, if I check you in now, you will need to check out at 11a. I told him that was ridiculous and my card had better not be charged!!! and I left disappointed and disgusted. I sat in the parking lot to use my phone and make other plans.
