Easy Access to 95

Needed a more cost efficient spot that wasn't Richmond and this worked out great. Right off 95, renovated rooms, breakfast, and friendly staff. FYI, they are still doing some construction but a separate email was sent about this (after booking).

Nice stay off the highway

Nice hotel right off the highway. A few restaurants nearby and fast food. They are doing renovations to the outside area but not noisy or inhibiting the stsy in any way. Staff very friendly. Bedding was comfy and lots of space in bathroom and bedroom.

We planned on driving further but snow made it necessary to get last minute accommodations. The Hampton Inn was a pleasant surprise. It was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was great.

The cable was not working during our stay. When asked about a discount we were told to speak with the manager in the AM only to be informed that since we booked via a third party they were not able to offer compensation even after paying full price for amenities offered at this location.

Nice Room, Couple of issues

The room was nice. There was a constant buzzing alarm until 3am. It then started again at 7am. (Got very little sleep) There was no hot water in the shower. I mentioned the issue to the front desk when taking bags to the car. When I returned, the front desk said that the manager would arrive in about an hour and would contact me and reduce my room charge. I thanked her (she was very nice). I did not ask for anything I just thought it should be corrected for the next guest. Needless to say, I did not hear a thing from the manager. When I reported the issue, I did so as an FYI to the property, but if you say you are going to do something, then do it, or say nothing.
