Great lobby, lackluster rooms. Needs major clean

The lobby is stunning when you walk in but once you make it to your floor the whole vibe changes. The flooring is lifted, the elevators shake, the door had a huge gap between it and the floor, the curtains were too small and didn’t cover the window letting in a lot of light in the mornings, no microwave in the room, the lamps are mostly broken causing the lights to blink. There are also very few upgrades to the room. No USB C ports which most electronics use now. We stayed here because it was nearby to an event we were attending at scope arena so it served its purpose. There also seems to be a housekeeping issue as housekeeping did not come and make our bed, etc at all during our stay.

Only 1 out of 4 elevators worked. First room we checked in had water all over the floor from the rain that was going on when we checked in. 2nd room was good. People were on the stairs outside of the hotel smoking weed. Lobby was updated but the bathrooms were outdated. Beds and room were good. Would stay somewhere else if revisiting the area.

Check in was great! And the hotel staff was nice. The hotel is very old, you can smell it. I checked in early dropped my bags in the room and left. I got back to my hotel room late in the night. Went to take a shower and there was hair in the shower. Went to pull the cover back and the was some sort of dirt debris in the beds, the floor was dirty and you could feel the dirty underneath your feet.

Very dirty and inconvenient. The elevator broke down and we had to walk up 9 floors. No ramp to bring up luggage from where you park only stairs. Saw a huge cockroach by the side entrance door. That door of which doesn’t shut right and anyone could just come right in!
