We stayed at pinball Petes located in Richmond Virginia. It was a cool place that contained over 15 pinballs and other types of gains. It was close to mainstream venues, but took away in a picturesque neighborhood very peaceful and calm and safe. We enjoy being able to relax.

My favorite place to stay in the US
This is the most fun place to stay that I know. The owner is responsive and friendly, the cat (who only lives outside) is so lovely. The antique pinball machine collection is one of the best I’ve ever seen, and it’s a chance of a lifetime to play. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfy. This place is exceptional!

Not for me
Initially I thought it would be a great idea to stay at a place given the pinball machines and games cause I like them.. but I was aware that this may not be a good idea. The machines are quite loud so if you need some quietness and it is not as if the sleeping rooms are far from the machines, you run the risk of booking with other people who enjoy the games, and they play them and have fun. I could have dealt with that but the futon mattress or cushion was too much for me to bear. Driving 8hrs to arrive only to an uncomfortable bed, I couldn’t do it another night. Then being awaken early in the morning by pinball machines was startling and jarring. So I just left and forfeited my reservation. Some caveats: if you rent the whole house, that would probably be fun, or rent the room with a bed and not futon, or if you’re young and don’t mine late night noise or activities, then the place might suit you. For me, this wasn’t suited for me.

Hands down the best value in Richmond. And by far the coolest place to stay anywhere! Pinball machines, classic video games, big screens, lots of dvd's. Clean, comfortable rooms, convenient to the city.

Pinball Fun in Richmond, Virginia
Unique and fun place to stay in Richmond. Especially nice if you are traveling with folks that really love pinball. Clean, accommodating, quiet neighborhood. Game play is included in the price of your stay, there must have been 25 machines.

Comfy and fun place to stay
Really fun play to stay! Comfy bed, friendly owner and the location is great, too. I hope to stay there again when I'm next in town. Even the cat who lives in the back yard was welcoming! lol You really should try this place- once in a lifetime fun, if you like pinball machines.

Second time, still a charm
This is our second stay, and it's just as great as before! The beds are comfy, selection of breakfast is great, the manager communicates extremely well, the games are fun, location is safe and convenient, and the old cat is very friendly. Despite what someone else said, I have never seen a cat hair or any trace of the friendly little cat anywhere inside the house. I hope my kid gets into college here, so I have an excuse to come stay here more often. lol

We really enjoyed our stay. The pinball machines were great fun, the kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items and our host was very friendly and welcoming. Came complete with Kat the cat who was
an excellent greeter but stayed outside. We loved the eclectic decor. It's a home, not a hotel and you probably will be sharing the space with others but if you're OK with that give this place a try. Would definitely stay again

A great house, and a great host. If you love pinball and classic gaming consoles, you may find it difficult to work up the motivation to leave. The old style pop machine full of local craft beers was a nice touch, too, and is the only machine in the house that requires quarters.
