We enjoyed the overall experience of the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom area was a little small but we enjoyed the water pressure of the shower. The glass wall of the shower was not very good about keeping the water in the shower and the shower head was too high for a short person to move it so the water would not get out. The breakfast area was nice. The options provided for breakfast were good. We would stay here again if we come back this way.

We had a wonderful stay. Our first room was extremely noisy being roadside. But we were able to change to a much quieter room that was comfortable and spacious. Good breafast and helpful staff.

The staff was super friendly, the room was fantastic, the price point was okay. The breakfast was excellent! The one improvement I'd look for is to update the mattresses to memory foam. The inner spring mattress was comfortable enough, but there's nothing like a good foam mattress. But, again, this was very minor in the scheme of things!

Front Desk @ Hotel Excellent Service

We arrived late in the evening to check. Although we used on line booking, the 4-5 star rating is for the actual Hotel. The front desk lady, Juana, was so kind, polite, friendly and professional. She assisted us quickly and answered all our inquiries quickly and was very thorough. She deserves recognition for her customer service approach and skills. Regards, Paula G.

This place was a convenient location on our road trip, the front desk was nice and checking in and out was easy but that's about it. As we walked up the stairs to our room the carpet is filthy. It needs to be desperately cleaned and vacuumed. My night stand and lamp was covered in dust and so were the shelves under the sink. We walked by the indoor pool and idk if there was construction going on or what but it was a mess, not usable but people were still sitting around drinking. Lots of construction workers staying here grilling outside. The bed was hard and not very comfortable. Id pay a few more dollars and stay somewhere else if I pass by here again.

This property had potential because the staff was friendly, lobby was inviting, and everything looked like it had been remodeled in the last few years. Once we entered our room, we found a nice room that was very dirty. I spent the first 20 minutes cleaning the floors with wet wipes. Everything was dusty - even the hair dryer! The sheets on one of the beds was stained, and the sheets on the other bed felt gritty. The room was quiet and we felt safe, even though the back door was not secure. They did have a nice breakfast and the staff was friendly, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of our room.

It’s safe and clean

Snow hit Childress during our stay. Sidewalks were never shoveled and it head packed high enough side doors could open all the way. Likely a safety hazard if you needed to evacuate. Breakfast was standard for BW hotels and good. Room had clean linen but very cheap vinyl flooring. Property is getting older and attempts seem to be made to keep up, but the room just felt motel 6 with the cheap flooring instead of carpet or tile. Pool was clean, but the spa was filed with concrete it appears. Very solid for 3 stars but not what you expect booking a Best Western.
