The historic hotel used to be considered a fancy place to stay. But not so anymore. Although it was clean, it is in need of paint and repairs and new furniture and carpet .
It just felt real run down. It's not the "go to" place I remember .

Meh Breakfast, Small Rooms, But Good Location
The breakfast offerings were very sparse, more continental than anything hot. Dining room trash bin became overflowing and nobody bothered to clean. Rooms were very small, remember that this is an historic hotel. Location is great, right on Washington Street. For the price, you get what you pay for, but wouldn't hurt to pay more attention to breakfast operation.

It was good but our room did not have bathing soaps. We called the front desk and said she will bring it right away only to come after half an hour of waiting. Other thank that, everything else was good and it was a friendly environment

Unsatisfied
The room to enter needed an old key, you could hear the plumbing all night, the room u could barely fit in. The outside was so lod and didnt end til after maybe 3. No heat, shower you either froze or burned. The only thing decent was the beds. For 170 a night not worth it.

Old West meet newly refreshed!
very cute, recently refreshed historic inn in the heart of Sonora old town. this property had historical artifacts and relics from the past. staff was friendly and helpful. I felt like I was in a combination of European and old West Inn. Clean and safe. Free breakfast was super busy and seemed to be over picked, but hey it was free. Only other negative was that the elevator was out of service. I would stay here again.
