We had a great experience. Just needed a place to crash before heading to the island the next day. Love that they offered breakfast in the morning. And to our surprise, we could leave our car there while we went to the island.

It was a wonderful place to stay. They allow you to keep your car in their parking lot the day you are going to the island. The ferry company has a shuttle that comes to pick you up and brings you back. Staff was so nice.

Awesome staff and hotel.

It was a fabulous time at this hotel. All of the employees were so wonderful and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate four old women. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others making the trip to Mackinaw Island.

This was a First stay at a Belmont Hotel. A very pleasing experience for sure. I will mention that the rooms are up to date, at least from what I can tell, clean and the beds comfort level is up there, a 9 if not higher. The staff is very friendly! Thank you for a wonderful experience and 2 night stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room and pool were very clean, and the overall service was excellent. The location is convenient, and it’s definitely a kid-friendly place. Breakfast was good, though the dining area felt a bit small during busy times. The refrigerator in the room was a bit noisy at night, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. Special thanks to Alperen and Baran — they were especially kind and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. Would definitely come back!

Great

This is an older hotel but it's very clean and well kept. It's very conveniently located to the ferry. We were able to walk to the ferry easily. It's close to shopping. It was very busy while we were there, but after 10-10:30 pm, we never heard much noise. I was able to hear someone in the next room snoring so the walls aren't super thick. I just popped in ear plugs and went right back to sleep. The people working were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We lost the recipe

The property is new, clean, and beautiful and centrally located. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. However, all staff seemed new and unable to carry out the simplest functions (running a credit card; making a salad—no recipe?—etc.). When calling to rectify a charge I was transferred 3 times, cut off once, and hung up on. I’d give them 6 months to train their personnel!

Great for young families.

Although other reviews prior to our stay had dissatisfaction about the continental breakfast we found it very good. Provided great scrambled eggs, two styles of sausages, fresh fruits, bountiful individual packaged cereal, fruit juices, bagels, muffins, toast, coffees, teas, and hot chocolate packets. Workers were very helpful and pleasant. The only serious complaint was the height of the room toilet. Very, very low to the floor. We're old but even our early 40's daughters were very displeased with the short distance off the floor. The room make-up was more of a "lick and a promise" and they didn't leave fresh drinking cups.
