It is located near Kyoto train station, so most convenient. Quiet with excellent hot bath. Breakfast was good. It is in the middle of busy city, but little gardens made it like an iasis. Staying here again when in Kyoto.

I proudly leave this review to say that this hotel offers incredibly kind service and impeccably clean facilities—so much so that words alone cannot do it justice. I’ve visited Japan many times, but I have never encountered such remarkable kindness and consideration from staff anywhere else in the country. Every single staff member, without exception, made a sincere effort to ensure guests felt as comfortable as possible. Their attitude and culture were so impressive that I found myself wondering what kind of leadership was behind it all.
