We booked through Hotels.com and instantly regretted it. When we arrived, the pool was “under maintenance” even though it was still listed as available. The room smelled awful. I asked to cancel, but the staff said only the manager could help, and of course, she was “unavailable.” After Hotels.com called, the staff finally admitted the pool wasn’t working, but the manager still refused to cancel. Staff even said this happens all the time. Dirty, smelly, and dishonest—avoid at all costs. Thanks to hotel.com who took the responsibility and cancelled the booking.
