This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with hotel staff, particularly the reception and manager, whose service was well below standard — unhelpful, dismissive, and rude.
I specifically chose this hotel because it listed a swimming pool nearby as an amenity. However, the pool is a 12-minute walk away and requires a separate payment. On top of that, towels aren’t provided at the pool, and I was told I couldn’t use the hotel’s towels either. Why advertise a pool as a perk if you don’t support guests in using it? No one expects to pack a bath towel for a city break.
Additionally, the listing mentions "access to sauna, steam room and spa facilities". What it doesn’t mention is that all of this requires an extra payment. The wording is misleading — 'access' should mean it's included or at the very least, it should be made clear that it's paid access. Just like the listing notes that breakfast and parking aren’t free, this should be equally transparent.
When I raised these concerns and asked to speak to the manager, I was met with arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. He tried to explain the meaning of the word 'access' to me. Without a basic understanding of it.
This is the first negative hotel review I’ve ever written, and unfortunately, it’s well deserved. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
