The hotel’s location and staff were excellent. The rooms were spacious, though slightly outdated. The pool was beautiful, and direct beach access was a major plus. On the downside, the restaurant had limited hours, and reservations couldn’t be made through a single site. Overall, for our family of five (ages 12 to 70), we truly enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic—while you’ll need a car to get to the American Village, the trip is absolutely worth it.

I paid for the room tariff plus breakfast in advance because I like Japanese Food. But I was only told upon arrival that the Japanese restaurant was temporarily closed at breakfast time. Thus I asked for refunding the breakfast payment at the front desk but was declined. What’s more, when I went to the western restaurant, it’s full of people and messy. I was very unhappy with the stay at Laguna Garden Hotel.

Not much of a resort during the week

The hotel is nice and walking distance from a very nice beach. There is an outdoor pool although it’s not deeper than 4ft. The indoor pool is open late and has a water slide which was a lot of fun. We were there during the week and were very disappointed that only one restaurant was open during our stay. Turns out on Saturday more restaurants we’re opening and there was an event by the outdoor pool being set up. For a “resort” it was very limited and had nothing going on during the week which was disappointing. However it’s well located to the city or to the northern part of the island.

Great hotel with minor flaws

*None: Reserved a 4-bed room. PRO: Indoor pool, restaurants, Shoppete, free parking, Wifi, Ethernet LAN cable in the room, two sinks, large room. Walkable to Tropical beach and Ginowan Convention City Shopping Center and Round 1. CON: It wasn't the summer season, so the out door areas weren't ready. Car dependent if you want to go any where other than those listed above. Summary: I would visit again when the outside area is accessible. The room was large with good amenities and was very convenient with the light switches. A rental car is suggested, but taxis are also easy to come by as well.
