This hotel is undergoing a much needed renovation. However, that didn't have any effect on my stay, that I'm aware of. The top floor, and perhaps other areas that I'm unaware of, were being renovated. I arrived at about 11:30 pm and felt that the front door area was secure. The desk was manned by a male who greeted me promptly. My room was clean, except for the sofa which needs to be replaced. I wouldn't dare sit on it. The carpeting and curtains were both adequate. The tv was excellent, but a channel guide would've made searching for channels unnecessary. Surprisingly there was NO mini-fridge.The bathtub/shower was excellent, with four metal safety grab bars solidly attached to the wall. The water pressure was A+. Both the bedroom and shower were very clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. The closet was clean, with adequate wooden hangers. I missed breakfast, which ended at 9:00 am, so I can't comment about it. At check-out, the front desk attendant called the shuttle bus for me and it arrived promptly after a less than ten minute wait. The driver was very professional. Overall, this hotel met my needs for a one-night stay, and I consider myself a rather flexible traveler, however, I know my wife would not have liked it because of its renovation status and location just off of a highway. She'd prefer to stay in a more populated area. So for flexible single travelers, I'd rate this hotel a 6.5 out of 10 for a short stay. For families or those staying longer, not so much.
