My husband, five kiddos, and I had a wonderful stay at The Cheshire. The room was clean, and I really enjoyed the look of the windows. Our youngest is special needs and had a complete meltdown when she found out there was no Netflix available. I also feel the breakfast area needs expanded to accommodate guests. We were in town for the Step Up For Down Syndrome walk. So, I was pleased to find The Cheshire not far from the area. St. Louis traffic is horrid but the quick trip to the walk kept our blood pressure down. I absolutely loved the ambiance at The Cheshire, from the welcoming lobby equipped with games to enjoy to each room named for an author. My published author of a husband (and English teacher) absolutely loved walking around taking pictures of the featured writers. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. With as many children as we have, we sometimes are looked at discouragingly by staff. But this was not the case at The Cheshire. I would highly recommend this stay, especially for anyone looking for a family-friendly place to stay.
