The location is very close to Hakata Station—just a few minutes’ walk—making transportation extremely convenient. There are two great breakfast spots on the first floor (The Local and 33cafe), perfect if you’re not having the hotel breakfast. There’s also a park right in front of the hotel where you can enjoy a relaxing morning walk.

Comfortable stay

We needed a place close to the hakata station, that was comfortable and had parking all of which this hotel had. There aren't any luxurys, but it had all we needed.

Nice place with some limitations

The room was good-sized, but without a closet. The beds were comfortable. There were many nearby restaurants, but the hotel did not have a place for dinner dining. Although the atrium was spectacular, the room was grim—almost no color except gray, black and tan.

The lobby is beautiful, the bathroom products were nice and the rooms were relaxing. But the bathroom towels were bad. The towels are thin and small, you need two to dry off. Random thing; the breakfast bar had really nice juices, good varieties.

Stay at the Chapter 2 for a family of 4. Spacious and clean. Spacious bathroom. shower room with tub , outstanding shower system and water pressure. Easy and efficient check in and out. The hotel lobby is big and grand, with convenient stores within 1-2 minutes of walk. There is a small park across the hotel. It is walking distance to the JR Hakata via the main road. There is a small carpark available at the basement. There are limited parking lots and space, especially for a larger vehicle. The staff were welcoming and the check-in process was smooth. We like how spacious the room is with places to put our shopping bags, luggages and walking space. The breakfast serves mainly Japanese food with only a few non-Japanese dishes like siew mai. We like it as we get to try on local dishes instead of the usual international selection. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. Good water pressure for the shower. Our supplies were replaced daily in a bag at our door. even though we put the do not disturb sign up. It appears our couch was converted into a couch so we didn’t have that many options to sit and lean back on something.

Very pretty and instagramable hotel. Booked the chapter 3 corner unit and was large and comfortable for 2A and 2C. Was able to open up 3 luggages and still sufficient space to move around. We did not opt in hotel breakfast but had breakfast at the local stand cafe outside the hotel and the experience was very good. We were served by 2 very kind Japanese ladies who were so kind to our young kids. Cons: 1. Not enough hanging space in the hotel room, esp the bathroom. 2. Location is rather far from main station and the returning journey to airport is quite troublesome for family with young children (if one decides not to use taxi). 3. The movable shower head that was in our room (stayed in 436) was cracked and magnifying glass light was spoilt. Showed a lack of ownership and sense of urgency to repair the items.
