Surprised how much I enjoyed staying at the wildlife sanctuary. Comfortable room, great lounge area with spectacular views. Dinner at the restaurant was good, portions could have been more generous but the overall experience was lovely. Also amazing views. We enjoyed wandering around the zoo and the after hours tour was fun. Overall an iconic Sydney experience, ideal for visitors and locals alike.

A really wonderful stay!

I absolutely loved staying here, so much better than I expected. Our room was calming, clean and comfortable just what we wanted. The view of the kangaroos from our room was uniquely brilliant and the whole vibe in the hotel was awesome. Breakfast and dinner were great with exceptional harbour views. Then the access to the zoo is super easy and I enjoyed the guided tour parts too! Can't recommend enough and it is all for charity which is even better!

A unique experience staying inside the zoo. Free zoo access, VIP access to the animal refuge (with guide) and special night tour of zoo, amazing view of Sydney, excellent breakfast buffet, and a koala bear nested just out of arms reach of my open window. Highlight of our week in Sydney.

Comfortable room with a view

Best decision ever to stay here. We had a koala in our tree outside the entire 2 day stay. I’d say 2 days is perfect-enough time to relax and see all of the zoo, plus do some of the excellent walks with the guides.

Totally awesome hotel to stay at. Get free admission to the zoo, guided tour plus a night walk! Plus we upgraded a little and had a koala outside our window named Baxter. So fun!!!

Amazing stay with the Koloa's

We loved our night at Taronga, the staff were fantastic and really helpful and friendly, the only reason we have marked it down slighlty was due to the limited bar opening times meaning no where to get food or drinks until lunchtime and after 8.30pm. Our animal view room was amazing overlooking one of the beautiful Koloa's. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
