understated luxury, the superior room had more than enough space to accommodate 2 guests, perhaps too much for one person but it was a great experience. The room was cleaned everyday to original state when we first entered the room on the first day. We have stayed here a few times while visiting family. It is without a doubt the cleanest hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. It’s also in a very convenient location, being in downtown Kamakura. The restaurant on site is good, with a very good breakfast buffet. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it is relatively expensive, especially on weekends when the room rates can sometimes be twice or more what you’d pay for a weeknight stay.
