Wonderful Hotel in the heart of Southpark Area

Well-appointed hotel, nicely decorated. Fresh and new. Great place to stay. I would stay here again. **I do hope the staff will start to really review the rooms. I noted some items that will easily be missed if not taken care of: rubber seal on shower, broken handle on fridge. For a brand new hotel, this attention to detail will cost them in the future.

Nice hotel, clean, safe area very close to South Park Mall. Tried to have dinner one night at 9 but they said they were closed (even though the hours were until 10 PM). Tried to order room service and was put on hold with nobody ever picking the phone up again. I would stay again though just know in advance dinner hours listed may not be followed.

South Park in Charlotte is a great area to stay in

The beds were made daily and the trash was emptied but that was it. Dirty coffee cups and no replacement coffee. We had to wash the cups ourselves and go to the lobby to get more coffee pods. The location was fantastic and the employees were great.

Beautiful Hotel

I stayed a night at Canopy for a Birthday event. The Hotel and rooms are beautiful. I slept really well. A couple of miscellaneous issues aggravated me. The parking was a headache. I had to park in the overflow lot which was $15 and then had to walk all the way back up to the Hotel. I paid extra for breakfast but was limited to only 1 choice(Farmers Breakfast.) Lovely Hotel but would I book again.. probably not.

The property was beautiful & the service was great. The mattresses, however, were very soft and had obvious "soft spots" where the mattress has been over used. Also, the tv had a large dark spot in the middle of the screen.

A few days of NASCAR

The hotel is nice and rooms are pretty. Beds are very soft and are in need of being replaced. A lot of construction next door but wasn’t bothered by it once your inside hotel. Parking is tight. They have a coffee shop that had great coffee but was out of half and half every morning. We only got to eat breakfast and it was great. However, dinner menu at their restaurant was minimal. They claimed they were waiting on a truck for all their food so that was disappointing as the menu looked great. Beautiful area and lots of great restaurants.

Great but be prepared

Super clean and quiet hotel, that’s also located in a great area. Only dislike was the extra fees. Why are the fees twice as much as the stay and there’s no notice of this before booking. Parking is $15 plus tax each night and an extra $100 each night on top of what you already paid for the reservation. So I had over $300 worth of fees. Luckily I got my deposit back but that’s ridiculous.

Great hotel but doors too thin

The room was amazing and the staff was nice. The only problems we had with this property is the parking and how we could hear everything going on in the next room. They were smoking and we could smell it so loudly in our room and we had a 4 year old with us. They put us in a adjoining room so that's why we heard everything but I have been in adjoining rooms before and never heard people on the other side so that was quite annoying.
