One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. The staff was more than welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and my room was spotless! I’ll be back for a stay. $75 accidental fee, $45 valet parking nightly. Best hotel in the Atlanta area

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Atlanta!

I recently stayed at Origin Atlanta, a Wyndham Hotel during my trip to Atlanta, and I couldn’t be more pleased. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and professional. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—especially Front Desk Staff members who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Location-wise, the hotel is perfect. The amenities were also top-notch: Comfortable beds Clean and spacious bathroom Overall, I would highly recommend Origin Atlanta, a Wyndham Hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta—whether for business or vacation. I’ll definitely be back!

9.5/10 Would be a 10/10 but the beds were a little stiff… to be expected though with a brand new hotel. Also no on site parking unless you valet and parking across the street was $25 a night but once you left you couldn’t return unless you paid again. Great hotel though hopefully I get to check out the restaurant next time we’re in Atlanta!!

Service was great just no hot water after day one, the mirror kept sounding like Bluetooth when using the bathroom for some reason, the power went out , the elevator was extremely slow, and it was hot.

The gym was amazing and perfect. The rooms were great and modern (although the king I had was so small 2 people couldn’t pass without having to step out of the way and the air conditioner kept cycling so our room was very hot. I had someone come fix it but the air went off every 90 min or so and so while sleeping we were sweating. Staff was so nice. The hotel was new and clean

Amazing hotel 10 out of 10

The only hotel I would book at, everything was amazing, good vibes great customer service I would definitely recommend this hotel back home in Arkansas. Thanks for making my husband and I 4th anniversary special. This is a great opportunity for photographers to shoot wonderful photos with the unique painting and art through out the hotel. I actually book another night! I over heard tomorrow is this hotel big day, and I’m ready to be apart of the experience/family.

I'll stay somewhere else next time

I reserved a corner room specifically and did not get one. I requested to have the special addition of a camp set up in the room for my daughter and did not receive. We waited 45min for breakfast at the property restaurant, and we were the only ones in it! The food was mediocre at best.

Maintenance never showed

Hot water wasn’t working in the shower. We contacted the front desk at 7pm and were advised maintenance would be sent shortly. We called the front desk at 8:30 pm, were told maintenance was working on another room and we would be next. We checked out at 9:33 am never heard from maintenance or the front desk.

When we pulled up the valet that greeted us approached our vehicle and stood outside of the closed truck door talking on his cell phone for several minutes before my husband stepped out to ask him what he needed. he was wearing black pants and a hoodie with no name tag or identifying emblem anywhere on him. When we pulled in the valet lane the sign said 6am-12am and All he said was valet cost $45 unless you wanna park across the street in public parking well hold on let me just go check and make sure that’s hotel parking oh no never mind I know that’s hotel parking and then he went on to explain that he was confused because he worked for the valet company and they

Deposit was not refund but doubled

The hotel was acceptable and in good Location. However, during the check in the hotel tried to charge me for the stay , of which I have already paid through hotels.com via Expedia. I really had to explain myself and went on a journey of having to prove that I have already paid for the stay. I was then ask to leave a deposit payment , normal. However , after I have checked out , I did inquire about the deposit payment refund - I was not too confident with the hotel. Due to the effort I had to make to proved I had already paid for my stay, during the check in. I was informed that my deposit would be refund and that there was no problem. Two days later , was deposit was not refund but it was doubled. As I was not far from the hotel- I went back to clarify the situation. Only for them to quickly explained that it was a fault with Expedia. It was not clear to why at all. Left a rather sour experience. The staff was rather unprofessional as I had to pursue to proved that mistake was made on their end. It made me wonder, how many times this mistake was made on travellers not from Atlanta.

Origin Atlanta- not open - taking reservations

I booked the stay months ago and when I arrived the hotel was still under construction. I was never notified of this ahead of time. Apparently they're taking reservations and when you show up they relocate you to another hotel. They should not be taking reservations if they're not even open for business yet. Hotels.com is also accountable for this as they should be vetting hotels before they add them to their list to make reservations for

Inept and Unacceptable Service of Major City Hotel

The first day of the stay, there was a rude awakening. No hot water in the sink or the shower. The showerhead protruded from a high ceiling fixture. The water pressure was low. Unfortunately, that was good because we didn't want freezing cold water pulsating down. There was no fan in the bathroom to air out the steam from the shower, which made the room and the carpet very damp. The bed sheets were so rough that it felt like my skin was being scraped. It was like lying under a curtain. The pillows were super soft and lacked any firmness. They were filled with what seemed like feathers. Poor choice for those with allergies. The covers did not pull away from the bottom of the bed. Very uncomfortable. When we used the clothes steamer, it set off the smoke detector. We thought there was a fire drill taking place. We had no idea the steamer would activate the smoke detector. We did not receive housekeeping service the next day. After having brought this to the attention of the front desk, they said they were busy and couldn't get to it. When it happened a second time, they told us we had to request it. Nowhere in their literature did they make it clear that we had to request housekeeping. The only thing they mentioned on a small card was that after three days of getting towel service, we would be charged. Also, we did not use the do-not-disturb doorhanger. They said they would get someone in to fix the water temperature because another hotel guest complained.

Almost There

I had made a reservation at a hotel that didn't exist yet. I lucked out with people working around the building and talked to them about my situation. I eventually got in touch with the manager. He was amazing and even transferred my stay to another lovely hotel and drove me there. The Origin hotel may not be ready yet, but if he's still there when it is, I have no doubt it'll be amazing to stay at.
