I stayed to be closer for a medical procedure that I was scheduled to have the following day. The hotel was clean and comfortable but older and tired looking. It's a wonderful location. The Bistro is very convenient. Renovating the building and adding another elevator would be great.

The check in was smooth, everyone I engaged with among the staff was clear and friendly, the rooms were perfectly nice though the first one had a small tear/hole in the tub. The breakfast was a little odd in that it was order only and it shut down very promptly, even a little early, though they kept offering drip coffee for purchase. The gym had one elliptical that wasn’t plugged in and two treadmills and some dumbbells—mildly grim but totally fine for the price point. We switched rooms because room cleaning skipped our room entirely but thankfully front desk staff was super helpful and offered us a new room since cleaners were no longer present. One night a fire alarm went off and no staff was visibly present to explain or assist but presumably someone addressed it and after maybe 10-15 minutes of consulting with other guests and going outside, it stopped. The site was clean and the lobby was lovely, as was the parking lot.
