We picked this hotel because it is across from the train station. It has an excellent location for museums and the park. I was concerned that it might be noisy but it even though we had a room that faced the street and train station it was very quiet! They kept our bags after checking out so we had the afternoon to explore the old part of the city by metro that is right outside the door! I highly recommend.

The entrance has an elevator to lower baggage or any mobility aids to the entrance which is a few steps below street level. This hotel has an excellent location directly across the street from the major train station and adjacent to the city's metro. It is also a short walk to Madrid's major art museums. The rooms and elevator are a little on the small size, but that is to be expected in the heart of a major European city. The breakfast was fantastic.

Wonderful hotel, polite and very helpful staff, ultra clean and comfortable room. The room was really roomy for an European hotel, and the bathroom was modern and everything worked! It is across the street from the Atocha train station so we easily found it after our ride from Barcelona. Great location, too, since it is very close to the Prado Museum and the large Retiro park.
