10/10 Exceptional

For the price the hotel is quiet good, great location, clean and quiet, only complaint was the air conditioning was not that good, but I saved a pile of money staying here so I would stay again

Basic

Unfortunately there was two of us and only one stool to sit and eat our meals. A cloth would have been useful to mop up spills on counter. Convenient for attractions etc. Beware very steep stairs to rooms!
SONIA, 3-night trip

noisy and tiny place.

This property was unique and offered the true experience of downtown Toronto. I would stay again as my boyfriend and I went and enjoyed ourselves.

Good value, convenient.

ELLEN, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It was my first time staying there and genuinely its best if you are looking for a cheap, safe and centred in downtown Toronto! Its location I'd say is the best, near everything and you have a streetcar statiom literally in front of the hostel. Highly recommend it if you wanna get the maximum of enjoying outdoor activities and just wanna just the hostel for sleeping over and relax.
Yassine, 2-night trip

It was great
Theron, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The service was fantastic. The place itself didn't match unfortunately. I'd recommend this place for the convenience of the area which being right in front of a street car pass. Also if you have heavy luggages, I do not recommend this place as they have no elevators.
Martin, 6-night trip

4/10 Fair

too noisy
Mengmeng, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was warm in spring, so summer might get pretty hot. Also, it can be a noisy area. However, it's in a central area and we could walk everywhere from there. The sink in the washroom was rather small, but we had everything we needed for our vacation at a great price.
Alberto, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Enjoyed myself
Theron, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This place is a bait-and-switch scam

This place is a total SCAM, it is actually a run down hostel but they advertise it as a hotel. The room was disgusting and looked nothing like the photos. The window was duct taped, the AC didn't work and it was the middle of a heatwave, everything was in bad shape and the furniture / bed was uncomfortable. There was no front desk to ask for a new room, only a phone number to call who did not return my calls. This is a complete bait-and-switch operation that I recommend you avoid.

This is a door of the street - dirty disgusting do not stay here

Decent place to stay the night
Noah, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

There’s bedbugs on the bed and blankets!!!!!!
Patricia, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We booked a private room not a dorm: Pros: very helpful friendly staff, private bathroom, mini fridge, kettle boiler, coffee maker, airconditioning, area is nearby to all essential amenities, walking distance to shopping, Loblaw, Dollarama, public park, coin laundry across the street, convinient code access Cons: older building, small room, shower is not isolated from rest of bathroom, very small sink, surrounding area may have noisy people at night, not sure about parking/didn't use a private car, no elevator but staff are ready and happy to help in luggage. Overall, it was satisfactory for our stay of 6 nights in Toronto
