Beautiful room and views of the valley and the breakfast was great. Really tranquil place to stay.

The room was great as was the hotel shared areas.
The hotel charges top end rates - which is fine, but then the evening meal we had in the restaurant was decent but not great (my wife’s dish was not hot). We had a better experience in the tap room the next evening. The options for cooked breakfast are very good but not to be able to have a decent bowl of fruit per individual and put yoghurt, nuts etc on top was a shame.

The rooms are very large, with comfortable beds, luxurious robes, scented bath products and a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. The balcony was very nice with a comfy hammock swing to lounge in! The hot tub was most enjoyable too. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean. The whole property is just lovely. Views are outstanding!!

Driving up the mountain to get to the hotel is not for the faint of heart, but it was worth it. The scenery is magical. The hotel is authentic and quirky in a good way. Do not recommend for those with mobility issues.
