This hotel is a perfect base for exploring Lake Huron. We drove south to Grand Bend one day and north to Sauble Beach the next, both easy drives. We stayed for 1 night in July and were pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, the kids enjoyed making their own waffles. There is lemon water in the lobby which was a nice touch. Nice area, dog friendly. Pool was tiny but we were there for the beach so that didn’t effect us. Would recommend.

We stay at the Comfort Inn whenever we visit family in Goderich and overall it’s a great place to stay but this time the pool “ was closed for maintenance “‘although we never saw anyone actually doing anything and it still seems so strange that the rooms don’t have opening windows with the great fresh air outside
