Check in was fine, pretty quick. Room was average at best. Had I not arrived so late and was only there for about 8 hours, I would have asked to swap rooms.
1. The window shade was broken, would not pull down. Was not able to darken the room to sleep well
2. There was a whirring/pulsing sound every few seconds that went on all night, could not figure out where it was coming from. It was not coming from the HVAC unit, it actually worked well.
3. The toilet did not completely flush first time, had to flush multiple times
4. There were no toiletries, just a small bar of soap. I asked for some at the desk and was given a 3 pack of body wash bottles to install on the wall in the shower. Better than nothing but I should not have had to put them in the shower.
5. The breakfast was about what I expected (bagels, toast, cereal), which was fine with me. However, there was nothing to drink except coffee. The juice and water machines were empty. Not everyone drinks coffee. I would have been fine with water but there was not even that.
6. The TV service did not work. The guide and everything was there but would not tune to anything.
I do not ask for much but this was by far one of the worst stays anywhere in quite a while. I definitely was not expecting a 5 star room, but this was barely a 1 star at best. Positives were the bed was clean and comfortable, the room/bathroom were clean, and I did not see any bugs.
