The location is perfect - a half-block from the pedestrian zone. Breakfast is to order, and the cooks are very accommodating - eggs, tacos, toast, salsas, beans, yogurt, etc. - in whatever combination you request. Great roof deck with unbeatable views.
My room was charming, but small and without a view. Plumbing is old (understandably). There's only one staff person besides cooks and cleaners, and he can't do everything.
Be careful if you have any mobility challenges. Sidewalks in SMA are treacherous. Casa Maricela has winding staircases and a trip hazard near the entrance.
