Not only the entire staff was superb but the hotel sits on the beautiful Japanese garden. We enjoyed the strolls in the garden in the morning and evening. Bonus was a shuttle bus ride to Shinagawa station and to the hotel.

Convenient hotel in lovely grounds

Check in and out were efficient. Disappointing we couldn’t get a drink or a quick bite to eat when we arrived about 9.30pm after a very long journey - ended up at 7/11. Very near the station so location good, lovely gardens, room was fine. We found a little café for breakfast in the sister hotel which was very handy. Arranged luggage forwarding very efficiently for us.

Our room was clean, but felt old and the air conditioning did not work properly. The staff were fine as was the buffet breakfast, but nothing special. Shinagawa Station is great and the hotel is relatively close, but the hotel is on a hill so the walk was uncomfortable in the summer heat. The areas adjacent to the hotel were under construction.
