Dirty Bathroom

There were fake fingernails in the entrance to our room and on the bathroom floor. There was also chewing gum stuck to the bathroom wall. The shower was stained and gross-looking. I had rented a second room and there were fake eyelashes in the bed. The breakfast was good. More variety than other hotels where I have stayed.

Keeping in mind that I'm reviewing a La Quinta and not a high-end five star hotel, I give full marks to La Quinta Williamsburg for being exactly what it is supposed to be: a reasonably priced, safe and clean hotel, with a friendly staff, a simple breakfast buffet, located very close to Historic Williamsburg ( 4-5 minute drive), and very convenient to both Jamestown and Yorktown, if you're doing the "Historic Triangle." The hotel is a 3 minute drive to a road lined with a variety of restaurants, and is next door to a 7-11 gas station. It was a very convenient location for us, and I'll happily stay here again if we visit the area in the future.
