My friends and I needed a place to stay for 1 night in Anchorage before heading home and the Westmark had everything that we required. It’s right downtown, so very walkable to anything you could want/need. We just happened to stay the night of the summer solstice and were a quick 1 minute walk to where the solstice festival was being held. Very close to shops and food as well.

It was nice but lacking somethings like a refrigerator, microwave, tissues and a better breakfast essentially since they use to have a restaurant so they have the equipment to have a supictaular breakfast. Staff was wonderful.

Shower: not just no pressure but no water but a few trickles; stayed for 2 nites—no choice whether to have room cleaning. We had 1 tiny bar of soap for 2 of us 2 nights; parking was EXPENSIVE. No place to park complimentary. Did not see that when i reserved. Front desk staff was annoyed to answer questions when i checked us in.
