Best location near the wharf, historic area

It's really fun to stay in in the historic wharf area of Bergen, with restaurants, shopping, museums and the fisherman's wharf area all around. It's also a short walk (about .3 miles?) to where you can take the funicular to the top of the mountain. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were very happy with our stay here.

Two days in a life on a visit to Bergen

The hotel was nice with a convenient location but our room was too warm and we were able to control the heat. The location was great and we could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the fish market. The staff were very friendly and we would stay there again when we visit Bergen.

Rad Blu - Bergen

Great area. Bergen is extremely walkable, so within walking distance to almost everything. Only small thing was they do not have air conditioning, so was able to get a fan brought to room for some airflow and to cool down room. Overall, wonderful experience at the Rad Blu. All hotel staff were friendly.

Lovely hotel aftet Norwegan cruise

Great location by the harbour and shops, easy walk to city centre. Lovely large and comfortable bed, and good size room and bathroom. The airport bus stops right outside hotel and there is a screen in reception telling you when the next bus will arrive. Tea and coffee provided in reception, useful when wairing for early airport bus.

Great location. I love the onsite evening restaurant/bar. They just redid the interior of the restaurant. The food is good but a little inconsistent. I had the "chef special" mushroom and blue cheese soup twice in 3 days and the first time it was amazing while the second time it was flat with odd additions (I think it was daikon - a flavourless and odd texture in a creamy mushroom soup). Overall, a cozy place worth a visit.

The bathroom was terrible, it was basically a sink and toilet installed in a shower, the whole floor was a shower and it got wet every time the shower was used. Breakfast was delicious and the only highlight of the hotel. Front desk staff was not helpful. They didn’t offer to call me a taxi, the front desk agent told me to walk to the ship,and their Ipad that was supposed to do the taxi order, didn’t order a big enough taxi to take me , my party, and our luggage to the ship. People standing in line to check in lwere more helpful than the front desk staff.

Not your usual Raddison Blu

Reserved a superior, city view with a king size bed. Received two twins with most of the view being the back of an office building and roofs from the water front. Any city view required you to stand at the window and peer above the roofs. Bathroom and room small and difficult to use. Beds, no top sheet, 4” mats instead of mattresses. Service at restaurant slow and bar services dismal. Very disappointing for a Raddison Blu.
