Right beside Osaka main JR statipn, with good connections to subways, this hotel is really well placed for a holiday or business stay in Osaka. Good-size, well-equipped room with comfortable bed and deep Japanese-style bath (a highlight!). Signage to help locate the hotel could be better, especially as the lobby is on the 9th floor of a building with shopping centre on the lower levels. Great restaurant level on floor below hotel lobby.

Osaka Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hankyu. Check in process was quick and easy, and the hotel has a bag storage system if you arrive early, which was convenient. Wifi was also good. Location was great, as you have the JR Station, Hankyu railway & Metro practically located outside the door. That being said, the only downside was the noise from the trains, bit for me after a little time it fades into white noise.

Convenient place to stay.

Staff members were not so kind however a few Japanese staff members were polite and kind. The room had a lot of dust. I didn’t feel like a clean room. Location was really good.

Good location with new shopping malls and food

The hotel is new and locates next to Osaka station. The location is super convenient for shopping. I walked a lot everyday, shopping around the malls beside the hotel. There is a food mall just 1 level below the lobby. I stayed in double-bed room, it is slightly smaller than other hotels I stayed before but good enough to me with its conveniency. The room is clean and quiet. I consider to come back for my next Osaka trip definitely.

Not meet my expectation

Stayed for 3 nights; - Good location convenient to tour, shop & eat around nearby. - Room a bit small despite 25sqm, marginally to open 2 big luggages. - Toilet design is not good as the sink & stand mirror next to each other making the space too narrow can’t facilitate I & my hubby to use the area at same time. - Shower is acceptable but weak hairdryer. - Could not enjoy the welcome drink as the opening hours is short & limited.

We love Osaka

One of the better hotels we stayed at! Check-in was fast, automated by a machine (or you can opt for a team member to help you with this) and seamless. Staff are incredibly polite and fluent in several languages including English and Japanese. Due to the volume of Korean and Chinese speaking guests here, it would be safe to assume that they can accommodate for other languages also. The room cleanliness was perfect, service was timely and done well, and amenities are plentiful here- they even have dedicated smoking rooms & microwaves, coin laundry, self service free tea / coffee inside the hotel. Staff can hold & weigh luggage for you at no cost. The room we picked was one of the higher floor option double room. It had a traditional Japanese wetroom style bathroom which was great. The insulation from sound outside was great also. The hotel offers a continental style breakfast for those who want to miss the chance for brunch at 喫茶店 , it was disappointing, I would not waste my money on it again considering there are much better options at less than half the price outside. This hotel operates inside a larger building, where you first catch a lift from the 1st or 2nd floor, go up to the hotel, and must then catch another elevator to your room. This is something to note if you have accessibility requirements. The hotel is incredibly close to Umeda Station to connections to Shin-Osaka, Kyoto, Namba, etc are literally on your doorstep. I would 100% stay here again.

Fantastic hotel. Located next to a train and subway station made navigation easy. Despite the busy area, rooms were really quiet.
