This was a very relaxing place to be for the first few days of my trip. It’s the perfect mix of Tuscan country and faster pace of downtown Florence. It was quiet at night except the calm buzz of cicadas outside. Absolutely picturesque views and easy to walk around. Loved access to a pool on super hot days. I’d absolutely come back to this hotel

Stayed at Villa Carlotta for 4 night in September and it was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is in beautiful and in a safe area a 10 minute walk to Boboli Gardens and the old city. Parking available on site.

Located in a quiet neighborhood just south of the river, it was convenient to take the bus into and out of the city as well as walk to nearby parks/gardens, shops and cafes for a more authentic experience in Florence. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very accommodating, even of our special requests. My only regret is not having enough time to enjoy the pool. I would absolutely stay here again!

The staff were really helpful and friendly, it has its own free parking which is a great benefit and is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. However the part of the property we stayed in is a bit run-down and could use some updating. It worked for us (a family of 3) for the one night and I think would have worked for my spouse and I when we were fresh out of college.

We stayed there as we wanted a hotel with a pool, but walkable to the centre of Florence. It was perfect. Very hot but the aircon worked well. Pool was lovely. Staff friendly. Rooms large. 1km from the tourist area but bobolli gardens very close, wonderful bars and restaurants nearby. Cannot recommended highly enough

Defenetly not a 4 stars hotel. Unfortunately despite the beautiful location, the hotel is in a bad condition. My room was very small, dark and full of water leaks, dead mosquitoes smashed on the wall, old bathroom ... Breakfast was included but very disappointed...no fresh juice, bad coffe and frozen items...The hotel could be beautiful, the area still amazing but the pictures do not give justice.

You don't get a double bed even if you ask and when you request to have the single beds put together as a double bed for a couple, nothing is done. This property is overrated and overprice for what you get.

Property was perfect for what we needed, easy walking distance to all the tourist locations, staff were lovely and very friendly and went above and beyond to order a taxi for me to get to the airport at 5am. Only compliant would be the hall smelled a bit off, there was no "do not disturb" sign in our room and I was unable to access the safe. However this is just nit picking, the property was excellent otherwise.

The hotel room needs urgent renovation. Old carpet in the corridors smells the age. Mattress was quite old and noisy, bed linen and towels was old must be changed. Location is great a couple blocks from Roman gate, but quite. Prking is available inside the property. I would not stay there again neither I would recommend unless it’s renovated.

The location is fantastic, easy to walk in and out of the city center. Staff are friendly and responsive. Parking is VERY limited but street parking (paid) seemed plentiful and at the time of my stay was $24 Euro per day (free Sundays). I stayed in the annex of the property not the actual villa and there seems to be a noise issue as I found the walls/doors very thin (and could hear all my neighbors, anyone in the hall, etc) and had responded to the initial question the website sends out when I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night. The MOD had messaged me thru hotels.com about moving rooms, but I never received the message. By the time she saw me, the other room was not still available but I did appreciate the proactive handling the situation even if the app didn't relay the message (never received it, even at a later time).
