The hotel is under renovation. I was not aware of that until I checked in for my stay. We specifically booked a hotel with a pool but the pool was also under renovation. Most of the floor we were on was closed off for renovation. All floors except for the lobby were covered in plastic due to renovation.

The facility was under renovations. I was not aware of the renovations when I booked the room. We had to change rooms when we found the bathroom sink had dirty water coming up through the drain. By the time I got a new room the water was running out of the sink and onto the bathroom floor. Apparently someone on the renovation crew left a valve open or closed causing a backup onto our bathroom floor.

I always try to stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling. Nice amenities and comfortable rooms. This Hampton Inn has been at this location for decades but had been recently updated. The area around the hotel is just ok, but next visit I will most likely stay in the much nicer Madison/Huntville area
