The hotel was the PERFECT location and had all of the amenities we needed. We included breakfast and it was an excellent buffet with also an option to order breakfast too. The only let down is that the weather was very warm when we were in Berlin, the air conditioning was the best as we were up at night overheating!

Great hotel with excellent staff, Penelope checked us in and she was wonderful. The room was very nice and we had a great view of the living tree. The hotel is close to the Berlin TV Tower, Museum Island and lots of restaurants. There is also a very nice laundromat about a 10 min walk. Next visit to Berlin we will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast wast fantastic. A la carte style. Nice rooms, comfy beds. I really hate the double duvets though. Spa / pool area could be better. Good cleaning and aminities. But there were no sauna rules and it was packing with kids. Web site says no kids after 19 but this was not described anywhere in the sauna.

Great location and lovely refurb.

This is a lovely hotel just reopened following the refurb after the infamous aquarium in the centre of the hotel shattered a few years ago. Must say the refurb is lovely (the aquarium replaced by a central column). The staff were great and professional and really looked after us. There were a couple of teething problems with the room tv and phone but soon resolved. Breakfast is lovely and the egg dishes off the a la carte are highly recommended! The location is ideal...right in the centre overlooking the Cathedral, 2 min walk from the tv tower and 15 min walk to the Brendanberg gate.
