Affordable, bed was comfortable, easy access to the showers and toilet. I also like how near it is to the ferry terminal. I am just disappointed the lamp by the lower bunk in Cell 27 was not working, and the wall outlet is a bit far from the beds.

I liked that it was very close to the ferry and the only few things I didn't like was that the bed made very loud creaking noises and the last thing is something a little more personal and that is that I would have liked to have some more directions for where the baggage room was and which way to find the rooms that one was given. But otherwise I had a very good last night sleep in Visby.

Solid hostel in Visby

Overall a good stay. Kitchen felt a bit run down. And if you are tall you will for sure bounce your head in the door damper in the low cell doors. They are mounted so there is a peace of meral sticking out a foot into the room. Luckily i wasnt so tall that I got them in the eye but my forehead took some beatings. But what I couldnt understand is why they have motorbikes inside the halls and saloons as decoration. They take up space, and hinder walking, and the space could be used much better. In addition they look ugly and out of the place. The decision to put them there is the dumbest thing I have seen in any hostel. Otherwise the establishment delivered to expectations.

Perfekt under Stockholmsveckan!

Jag och min vĂ€n bokade detta boende till stockholmsveckan och vi Ă€lskade det! Man kan beskriva att det Ă€r som att bo pĂ„ kollo, smĂ„ rum, allting Ă€r inte 100% bra kvalitĂ© och renligheten kan ifrĂ„gasĂ€ttas, MEN upplevelsen, personerna och mysigheten var helt fantastisk! Trevlig personal och tydliga instruktioner pĂ„ hur man checkar in och ut (det var skönt att man kunde checka in sjĂ€lv). Det var Ă€ven vĂ€ldigt trevligt att det fanns mĂ„nga ”allrum” bĂ„de ute och inomhus. Men Ă€ven den hĂ€rliga uteserveringen! Supermysig servering dĂ€r man har en vĂ€ldigt fin utsikt över hamnen. Det erbjöds liveband (Dogge doggelito) med mat och dryck. Vi kollade Ă€ven fotbollsmatchen dĂ€r, vilket var vĂ€ldigt roligt. Vi hĂ„ller inte med om dessa dĂ„liga recensioner! Man fĂ„r helt enkelt det man betalar för! Om man vill ha mer privat (inte ungdomar som festar till 7 pĂ„ morgonen) sĂ„ ska man inte boka vistelse under Stockholmsveckan, och om man vill ha ett ”frĂ€schare” stĂ€lle sĂ„ fĂ„r man lĂ€gga nĂ„gra hundralappar till och bo nĂ„gon annanstans! Detta boende Ă€r för dig som Ă€r en pank ungdom som gillar att festa och socialisera sig, för fĂ€ngelset blir som ett eget litet samhĂ€lle.

Fem nÀtter i fÀngelse.

Trevligt vandrarhem nÀra till allt. Med gÄngavstÄnd till GotlandsfÀrjan, glassmagasinwt ich cykeluthyrningen. Sonen pÄ 13 Är tyckte att det var spÀnnande att fÄ bo pÄ ett fÀngelse! NÄgra negativa saker; knarrande och lite gnisslande vÄningssÀngar i metall. Dammigt ffa i fönsternischen. Ingen kÀllsortering av förpackningar i köket förutom glas och matrester/ kompost. Men vi trivdes ÀndÄ bra och Äterkommer gÀrna nÀsta sommar.
Sonen gillade fönster-smygen. Men det omrÄdet stÀdades nog aldrig.

Bodde som tur var bara hÀr en natt. LÀget Àr prima och de gemensamma toaletterna frÀscha. Dock lÄg det gammalt snus och lager av damm pÄ sÀngkanten, en av sÀngbottnarna var sönder och dörrhandtaget höll pÄ att trilla av. Ingen svarade pÄ varken telefon eller mail nÀr vi försökte fÄ kontakt med personalen.

Okej för att stanna en sen natt till en tidig morgon, men det finns tyvÀrr flera faktorer som drar ner betyget, frÀmst att faciliteten kÀnns ofrÀsch och behöver upprustas. Ytterst lite anstrÀngning hade krÀvts för att uppgradera faciliteten. Priset kompenserar nÄgot, men borde Àrligt talat vara Ànnu billigare med tanke pÄ nÀstintill obefintligt underhÄll/ omkostnader. In/ utcheckning Àr smidigt, vilket Àr tacksamt om man endast sover hÀr en natt, vilket Àr det enda jag skulle rekommendera om man anlÀnder sent med fÀrjan. Kontakt med personalen brukar vara vÀldigt svÄrt, fick svar pÄ 1/2 mail. Oklart ang. parkeringsplats. SÀngarna Àr dÄliga och madrasserna har flÀckar/ bör ersÀttas eller rengöras med textilvÄrdsmaskin.
