Great friendly check-in staff, and very nice and responsive maintenance staff. Rooms are small, but comfortable and well-furnished. Beautiful bathrooms and excellent bedding. The restaurant on-site has some excellent food. The hotel has hundreds of fun small old-fashioned touches that add to a very nice ambiance. Overall fun and nice stay.

First stay, not the last

Conveniently located for me and an easy walk into Capitol Hill, I had a fourth floor west facing room so it was pretty warm in there but the windows open and the vintage of the marble bathroom was pleasant and bright. Pillows and bedding were incredibly comfortable and ample, I slept so well. Thanks for such a lovely but all to short stay

I was so charmed by this little hotel that I am booking it again for another business trip this month. It’s off the beaten path. It’s not a typical hotel. WOW, a very cool old hotel on First Hill in Seattle. Great service, the restaurant was excellent. The suite we had was huge. Worth a stay if you are going to Seattle.

Love it!!

Had a wonderful stay here this week for work! I was exhausted most days and the bed was so extremely comfortable, and for someone who travels three weeks out of every month I rarely can say that I get a comfortable hotel bed! The food is phenomenal, and the bartenders are great, as well as The valet and the rest of the staff I encountered. I’m traveling back to Seattle in two weeks and I booked my stay here already!

Nice hotel but has quirks.

This is an older hotel and still in pretty good condition, however, there are a few quirks. The shower in our room got very hot if someone flushed the toilet. There was quite a bit of dust on the nightstand next to the bed, as if it hadn't been dusted in quite a while. The caulking around the bathtub/shower was showing some mold growing in it.
