Tired old hotel

The hotel is rundown, a couple of steps on the carpet and I immediately put on my slippers. There was a crumpled water bottle on the floor under the sink. No blow dryer in the room. It’s cheap to stay there, but I’d sure like to give it a makeover!

Room keys did work, security had to escort us to our room to let us in. Only one towel in the bathroom. There were stains all over the wall. The tv was nice and big and the bed was comfortable over all I give this place 2 out of 5 stars.

Very unsafe neighborhood. No restaurant or bar as advertised. Gym was disgusting and full of leaves and debris. Lobby floor full of stains. Hotel needs a complete overhaul. AC blew hot air. We checked in and immediately checked out 15 minutes later. Broke down cars parked in the driveway with painted sale signs on the windows. Ghetto.

Slight disappointment, but good overall!!

Overall, it wasn’t bad. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a shuttle to the airport that they advertised having. The shuttle was part of the reason we picked that hotel. We were disappointed. However, It was very easy to get an Uber. They should just quit advertising that they have a shuttle. The price was very good. The hotel was a little run down, but she was a beauty once. The room was as very clean and comfortable.

Disgusting

Upon check in the lobby was dirty and had a strange smell. When I got to my room, I opened the door and was hit with a very strong smell of urine and vomit combined with some sort of cleaner that didn’t cover the stench. In addition to that, the carpet was still soaking wet. It was after midnight at this time and if I hadn’t been traveling all day and been exhausted, I would have checked out immediately.

Save your money

We were last minute told our room was no longer available (day we were supposed to be checking in). We were put at the Crowne Lodge Motel in Oakland and the conditions were unacceptable. Room was extremely dirty and the bed sheets had stains on them. Could barely stay through the night and we ended up leaving in the morning and skipping the second night. Terrible experience.

NEVER AGAIN!

On two different occasions, one in the evening and one early morning, I went to the front desk seeking assistance. I was greeted by a sign that said "ON A BREAK," BUT NO LIVE HUMAN BEING ANYWHERE IN THE LOBBY! In the second instance, I was expecting assistance in getting to the airport, which the desk clerk promised me when I checked in. Needless to say, I had a plane to catch, so I was left to improvise other arrangements, which was nerve-wracking and most unpleasant.

My room smelled like cigarette even tho it had a sticker of a Non Smoking room. The toilet paper they left was halfway done. I had ask for a new one and they said they had none. They will call back in a couple hrs and when it comes I have to go down and get it.
