Wonderful property!!

This is a really wonderful property! Check in was so easy and everyone was extremely friendly. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. A lot of amenities and while the rooms are a little dated they were clean and very well maintained. Lived the lake view from our spacious balcony! Would stay again!

Our check in was fast.. Beds are comfortable and rooms are specious, however, rooms definitely need an update. Especially carpets and bathroom shower. We stayed here few years ago, and nothing has been renovated. Rooms were clean. Its just very tun downWe had a room with a balcony, Partially overlooking the lake and pool. The lodge has few restaurants on site, we dined at the HK restaurant, which was great. Great ambiance at the main pool

Nice but lazy

The lodge is nice and charming. Pool areas good and water clean. The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and good. The bar and restaurants are okay. I guess the staff is Midwest nice, but maybe a little bit lazy. I don’t get the feeling anyone would go the extra mile to make my stay better. But with the price tag it’s good value for money, I would go back.

Canceling family vacation plans for the Lodge

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, the choice of food between all venues was very limited. The table at HK’s they sat us at was sticky and unclean, the menu had food stuck to it, my wife’s silverware was dirty. Although the Japanese garden was nice, the property was in great disrepair, rotted wood throughout the property. The coffee was atrocious. I was thinking of planning a family vacation for 15 people but not now so much.
