I’d visit again

Met up with a friend for a 3 day weekend. We spent our time at the adult pool chilling. I liked the retro vibe of the lodge. Our room was fine for what we needed. Wasn’t excited about the on site food options, so we did head to town for two dinners. Had a LOVELY time at the spa. Even though a few of the areas need updating, overall things were good. I would go back.

Room quality varies, choose wisely & you'l love it

We have stayed at this resort before in the main building and loved it! This time our room was in one of their older buildings and definitely not the same quality as the nicer rooms in the main building/atrium. We will definitely be back because we love the four seasons, but we make sure we specifically ask to be in one of the refurbished rooms rather than the older smaller rooms at the end of the parking lot. Didn’t really enjoy the long walk with multiple outdoor flights of stairs to get to our room.

Loved the place overall, however the balconies needed much cleaning. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere, u can tell it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Also seen a snack in the walkway to the pool, noticed a housekeeper. Pool to the right side closest to water I believe the adult pool was very dirty and just not maintained well. Service was great, amazing customer service for check in and out. Great dining options and beautiful rooms, and amenities.

Not nearly enough chairs at the pools and minimal shade options. Were told we didn’t need reservations for HK Restaurant on the 4th and turns out you did them and we had to leave the property for dinner only to get stuck in the traffic jam for their 4th of July fireworks “come by the car load”.

Started rocky, but ended up great

We did not have the best experience when checking in. However, we did receive some compensation when that occurred. We were shown the way to our room and when we got to the building, it was a bit spooky. It was not the best maintained in the outdoor area where you walk to your room. It was not as intimidating in the daylight, but there were still issues with the property outdoors due to wear and tear. The pool and all of the amenities were the favorite part of the hotel by a long shot. We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Breeze was pretty good too. Even though the check-in experience was not the best, we are willing to come back to the hotel for our next trip down here!

This place needs a major UPGRADE!!! Stayed in a 4th floor room that felt like it was in the 70s. The bathroom was so small!! The tub felt like you were going to step through it. Also mold on the chalk around the tub and the stool waa loses. My wife and were totally disappointed with our room. Probably never stay there again!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Liked the numerous pools and pool towels that were provided. This is an older resort and showing its age. Attention to detail is lacking. Don't mind not having the daily maid service, but have towel racks to hang the towels. Clean the mirrors in the rooms. Pick up trash around the resort. Really enjoyed the Fire and Ice pool bar, but don't make the bar maid have to run to the kitchen to get the food. Not a good resource of her time.

Room was subpar. My colleagues who were traveling with me were put into much nicer accommodations with refrigerators. When I asked to switch I was told they were sold out— yes they were but there was a room right next to my colleagues that was empty. It should have been easy to switch. The wifi did not work in my room at all.

Disgusting

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay. The room was noticeably dirty, and the carpet was so filthy it clearly hadn’t been shampooed in quite some time. The balcony was just as neglected, covered in spider webs, bugs, and dirt, making it completely unusable. What makes this even more disheartening is that I used to work at this hotel when it was under previous ownership, and back then, it was truly top tier, clean, welcoming, and worth every penny. Unfortunately, that standard is long gone. Charging over $200 a night for these conditions is outrageous, especially when nearby budget hotels like the Super 8 are in far better shape. I expected more and left feeling completely let down.
