The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the guesthouse was in a quiet, beautiful location where you could look out and see the mountains and a water buffalo in a field below.
It was a very short walk to the main street where one could find places to eat and ATMS.
Mr Souk, our English speaking guide who works at the guesthouse, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the Plain of Jars, and we really appreciated getting to know him, and especially appreciated his willingness to share the personal experiences of his grandfather during the war in Laos in the 1960s to 1970s.
We shared a jam packed 2 days with him, where we saw and experienced so many things. He also provided us pick up and drop off at the airport. Highly recommend seeking out Mr Souk!
The breakfasts provided were massive and delicious. Please try the rice porridge. Very good and filling!
