The lobby and public areas were great, they clearly invested heavily in them. The rooms and other amenities, less so. They were small and completely mediocre, definitely not worth the price. You can get the same out of a hotel that's less than half the price.

Royal Sonesta is a Magnificent Hotel!

The hotel was beautiful! The staff were all incredibly friendly and the room was comfortable with a great city view. I will certainly plan to stay again during my next trip to Houston.

Janito provided excellent service and made me feel truly cared for during my stay. The room service was great, and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel!

Overall it was good. There were bugs in the bathroom and the condiments for the coffee were actually open container bags. Upon check-in we were not provided with the Wi-Fi information. But the beds were comfortable and the people in the lounge were very friendly. The corner room is not what you believe it is you do not get views from two directions. It is merely the end of the hallway on one side.

Hotel is nice with beautiful lobby and bar area. Room was on high floor and not small. Very convenient bed and nice bathroom. Excellent view from window on a city. Lobby has snacks store which is very convenient during the day bks restaurant and bar are opened after five pm. Nice stay overall

Not the best hotel stay I’ve had before.

They charged $100 deposit when we got there and it had to be on a card not cash. Plus, they didn’t have a microwave, or any extra blankets. Then they don’t have free parking. It was $32 plus tax to park your own car. Valet parking was $42 plus tax.

The clerk was very nice they gave our children two stuffed bulls when we checked in. That made their day . The room was nice but needed some more cleaning also the conditioner was out but other than that we enjoyed our stay. The parking was right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the lobby entrance which was what we were looking for !
