We would recommend this property for sure, I would just suggest to carry food with you before as there are no food options around the area.

We loved our trip! We stayed in the V Lodge and it was perfect! We explored during the day and cooked dinner every night and played games. The main room is spacious and comfortable. We also had one night of Northern Lights!

The hotel is really stylish with lots of designer’s touch in both architecture and interior design. The location is a bit far from the city but it’s a great place for aurora viewing. The view from those huge glass windows is stunning. The nature outside of the building is gorgeous too. Kevin has been very informative and helpful. A few minor things: 1) the entry way is a bit messy with all the shoes/boots unorganized; 2) there is a second floor but no elevator or helpers with luggage

Beautiful hotel with luxurious rooms, but fully automated no reception or concierge to assist with transportation. Recommend renting a vehicle at tbe airport.

I left my AirPods Pro at Aurora Villa. A staff member said he found it and would mail it to me. However, though my Airpods location, it says that the Airpods have been used and were taken outside of the cases at another place in Fiarbanks (another hotel, restaurant, etc.) Twenty days later, he said the AirPods were lost by USPS. What a good story. BTW, I stayed there for 3 nights, no one came to clean the room.

Quite with a beautiful view of mountains. Because we had more than 4 in family stayed in villa which was a bit older but comfortable and well equipped for a family. Nice to have some snacks and beverages available and communication for check in or general questions was excellent. About 20-25 minutes outside of Fairbanks proper but would recommend if looking for family get away and quite.

This would have been a great place to view the Northern Lights if it had not been raining and cloudy during our stay. The villa is remote with no services nearby. Fairbanks is more than 20 miles away.

I thought that the opportunity to see the Northern lights was amazing but there is no staff on site, the lodge was dirty and dusty, the water pressure and hot water non-existent. Still using COVID as an excuse not to serve breakfast at a B&B. Poorly maintained and cleared pathways and parking lot.

The facility and location is beautiful. Unfortunately that’s the only good thing to say.
This place is priced and advertised as a high end hotel, but there are literally NO staff there. You check yourself in, handle your own bags, they don’t clean your room. They give you a few crummy snacks in your room that never get replenished and that’s the extent of the food within 20 minutes.
It’s honestly just a hostel priced like a high end hotel. Which would be fine if it were advertised as such and priced appropriately. Overall very very disappointed with the experience.

We originally chose that room because we wanted three rooms, and we were looking forward to checking in, but when I went over the room was not cleaned. The attendant did not understand our stay and the number of days, and there was no communication between the cleaning department and the front desk. In the end we were given a double and a single in addition to the room, without any other compensation. Not a very pleasant experience

NO food, NO service, NO communication on site. NO support for activities. No airport service (like every other motel in Alaska) No timely check-in over 2 hours late, and didnt even finish.
Did NOT match renderings.
Feel completely ripped off. Check out Borealis basecamp -- now that is a worthy resort: food, communications, activities and more!
You should be embarrassed for false marketing. And I will be active on media warning other seasoned travels like us and others, so they dont buy your lies!
Not remotely luxury. Would NEVER recommend.

This place is not deserving to be on Expedia.
Nonsense Checkin process. The “Main Window” can’t see out at night, due to poor lighting design and floodlights. No soft lights outside rooms to see outside. Dimmers don’t work.
Poorly designed. TV doesn’t work. Strict quiet time rules but the idiot who designed the place, installed all heavy weighted doors that are super loud.
If you get lucky to see “northern lights” which is unlikely due to outside floodlights, then good for you.
I do not recommend this place.
