The hotel is beautiful but older. The rooms are fine but could use some updating. The hotel is centrally located in the city and perfect for walking. We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is great and the brunch is wonderful.

Probably the best hotel where I have stayed in many years. Everything from room prep to the restaurant was beautifully done to make the visitor comfortable. Staff went out of their was to be helpful. I will stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located on King St. Our room was not cleaned well. The bathroom was dirty, small and inconvenient, w/ old plumbing. Bed and pillows seemed very old and used. I understand Charleston is filled with old hotels, but this one was missing the charm and in need of a serious update or refresh.
