The Westin Bonaventure is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff on my floor were particularly friendly and kind. I utilized the Desuan Spa inside the hotel - not owned or run by the hotel - and it left a bit to be desired. It was clearly worn out and the staff was not very friendly. Given the cost and location inside the hotel, I expected more. The HOTEL itself is a little dated, but VERY CLEAN.

The customer service was excellent -with the front desk staff very kind and welcoming and made my check-in very quick and smooth. The valet staff were also very kind and quick with my vehicle requests (they kindly opened the door for the two of us- passenger and driver, daily). The lobby level restaraunt staff was also very hospitable and provided great service during breakfast. The hotel was clean and grand (i.e., shopping, dining, rooftop pool. and the gym) and I loved the different towers layout. I did not walk to any nearby attractions, but the location was convenient and easy to get to in the downtown area. The room itself was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and comforter. The only down side was that I couldn't find an iron and ironing board, unless this was located elsewhere or upon request? I will definitely stay here again when I return to Los Angeles, CA.

If you’re going to a baseball game or somewhere downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s super easy to navigate getting back. So many movies were filmed here so it’s kind of fun to experience. They give you a few more perks compared to other hotels when you check in like the beverage credit some spa credit and different things instead of just 1. The staff and attitudes in the restaurants and cafes could be a lot better, but it’s LA and part of the culture. I also called for bell service and they told me that they didn’t do bell service and I was like OK… and then he called back and said I’m sorry I was just really busy so I didn’t appreciate being lied to you, but I’m glad that he apologized
