Eine kleine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit

Die Ferienwohnung war für uns vorbereitet, der Schlüssel lag bereit, aber dann fühlten wir uns in die späten 70er Jahre zurück"gebeamt". Der Fernseher, ein Modell aus der Steinzeit, hatte keinen Empfang, durch bewegen des Anschlusskabels konnte allerdings mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl hin und wieder eine Sequenz empfangen werden. Der Kühlschrank, ebenfalls ein sehr altehrwürdiges Gerät, war für 5 Personen definitiv zu klein. Die Waschmaschine, die wir erst sehr spät entdeckt haben, war nicht benutzbar (total verdreckt) und hatte ebenfalls ihre besten Jahre weit, weit hinter sich gelassen. Die Terrasse, von der wir wirklich einen sehr schönen Blick zum Großen Arber hatten, war nicht nur in die Jahre gekommen, sie war sowohl von der Einrichtung wie auch von der baulichen Substanz nicht nutzbar. Der Sinn des in halber Höhe mit Erde gefüllten Holzkastens hat sich uns erst mit viel Fantasie erschlossen, der war wohl mal zu besseren Zeiten als üppiger Blumenkasten gedacht. Die größte Überraschung war, als es am Sonntag regnete, hatten die beiden Mädchen vor der Tür einen tosenden Wasserfall, der sich vom Dach ungebremst auf die Terrasse ergoss. Der Tisch, die Bank und die beiden Stühle im Garten waren nutzbar, allerdings war der Sonnenschirm mit 50 % Totalausfall schon fast wieder ein Witz. Alles in allem, waren wir - Großeltern mit drei Enkelindern - insgesamt mit der Unterkunft nicht zufrieden, zumal sich der Vermieter nicht um unsere Hinweise gekümmert hat. Schade. Denn Bayerisch Eisenstein als Ort mit Geschichte und Natur vom Feinsten hat uns überzeugt. Touristische Angebote sind für Besucher und Gäste bestens erschlossen. Die tägliche Krönung war bei der sommerlichen Hitze die Abkühlung im Großen Regen, gleich hinter der Arberhalle.
