Plenty of wildlife and within easy cycling distance to colourful bulb fields, coastal tracks, wetlands and villages. Limited places to eat without transport. "The hotel is close the Leeuwarden railway station so very convenient if arriving by train. It’s a largish hotel, staff are pleasant and helpful. If staying more than one night they don’t service the room unless you ask. There are lots of restaurants nearby.
