This monument is located at Punta Sur, the southern most part of Isla Mujeres. Punta Sur is magnificent. The history and the natural beauty is overwhelming! There is a small amount of fee to enter the monument but it is worth paying. Sunset views are breathtaking from the cliffs of Puta Sur. There are a few local small shops to get souvenirs and some drinks. "We arrived around 10:00 pm and the staff were very friendly. Our room was great. The bed was very comfortable. We had a mini fridge which was a wonderful as we could keep beverages cold on those hot days. The balcony was a great size and we had a side view of the ocean. Breakfast was included in our package. You had the option of juice and coffee and for the meal, you have either a fruit plate or delicious buns, you could order eggs (scrambled, over easy, etc); pancakes, or quesadilla. Would recommend this place."
