"This place ticks all the boxes and deserves the very high rating. Very friendly family (the daughter speaks perfect English), secure parking, in-town location, good wi-fi and air-con, free refillable drinking water plus an excellent breakfast in a nice outdoor space to get you started in the morning. The only slight downside is the tight access to the parking area, but the owner is very good at guiding you through. Plus you get all of this for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again. "

"We loved our stay here. The hotel, is so peaceful, clean and beautifully traditional. The food is delicious, very wholesome and made of natural ingredients to order. All the staff were so helpful and work hard to please. However a big shout out to Noemi who has gone above and beyond her job to organise forgotten laundry to be returned to us. She has been so lovely and helpful. "

"Staff was super nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and set up very cute. Very spacious. Mexico culture felt throughout. Wifi available. You can ask for pool towels at the desk. There is a cute cafe separately owned out front that stayed open late. You can find a convenience store on the next block. You do have to use street parking or pay for a garage. Our family loved it. "What a lovely lovely place, it really takes you back to old school colonial architecture and living. The hotel has developed a wonderful eco friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and pool that should be enjoyed. Food was wonderful and so nice to see that they produce as much of their own food as they can and where they’re unable to, they source from the local community. Our only comment would be that if you were staying for more than one night, the beds are small for 2 so as a family it’d be worth considering 2 rooms but it really didn’t detract from our stay. "

The room was beautiful and quiet the A/C worked perfectly, the space was large and the bed very comfortable. The large pool and lounge area was amazing . "Hotel Recuerdos es de nuestros favoritos en Valladolid. Camas y sábanas limpias, baño limpio y se incluyen artículos de aseo (jabón, champú y acondicionador). También incluye un minibar de libre acceso sin costo adicional. Excelente ubicación; a dos cuadras y media de la plaza principal de Valladolid y a tres cuadras de la estación de autobuses ADO que conectan a la estación del Tren Maya, Cancún y Mérida. Y a pesar de estar tan cerca de puntos principales, es muy tranquilo y callado por las noches. Recomiendo pidan la hamaca para disfrutan aún mas del estilo yucateco de descansar. Nosotros no lo supimos hasta que nos íbamos, pero se puede pedir prestada. También disfrutamos mucho de la terraza donde desayunamos tamales que trajimos del mercado. En general, excelente experiencia y volveremos a este hotel sin duda. "

"Wonderful stay at the Frater Yucatan! My wife and I packed in a lot during a short trip and the hotel was the perfect place to unwind due to its comfort, beauty and hospitality. We cannot say enough about the staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. Both David and Julie especially took care of our hotel needs while offering valuable travel tips and most importantly a sincere friendliness that made us feel welcome. Also the hotel was in a great area to enjoy a charming city and we had no problem finding parking."
