"This property was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful but not overbearing. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The gardens and trails were beautiful. Meals were delicious. I wish we had stayed longer!"
"As you drive up through the palm trees, you can tell you’re in for a treat. Peaceful, beautiful grounds surround Casa Hotel Turrire- and include lovely walking trails through the jungle. The rooms are comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. "
"What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga.
The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
I spent most of my time on the deck.
Was clean and well maintained. "
"The property is tranquil, and the views are remarkable! The staff was great and Armanda who works in Dining was amazing! You get a nice bang for your buck. I will definitely come back."
"I had a wonderful stay here! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure we felt at home. The food was not only delicious but also very affordable — such a great surprise! One of my favorite parts was the beautiful forest surroundings, where is thewe could see hummingbirds flying around all the time. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop solar heating system, and the bed was comfortable and cosy. Daily housekeeping was also provided. Visitors should be aware that there are two dogs on the property who are well controlled by the owners. We enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to be able to stay in a small community away from the bustle of the nearby cities. "
"The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. We ordered two lobster dinners and were served shrimp. When we stole the waitress that we ordered lobster and got shrimp, she looked at our plates and said, "no, that is lobster." I said no it is not and so did my grandson. Then she came back and said they could correct only one plate. I said, "how is that reasonable? We ordered two lobster plates and got shrimp. Why wouldn't you correct both?" It was a big to do and by the time I got my dinner, I had lost my appetite. Both the shrimp and lobster were over cooked."
"An incredibly beautiful place with gorgeous rooms, amazing birds, magnificent flora and delightful people. The restaurant was open 8 to 8 and the food was amazing. "
"What a great place, the owners make to so! Everything was perfect! Hope to return one day! The construction has really impacted them... Had to drive along the closed road to get to them when we went... Said it's been under construction for 4 years! Gonna be a super freeway by there someday."
"The room with the private pool was awesome. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant is great, the menu amazing and the service is word class. We can only recommend all activities they offer. The guides are very knowledgeable and make you feel safe and taken care of. "
