"Our pre Christmas stay at Neiburgs Hotel was magical from start to finish. As well as the wonderful Riga Christmas market being on our doorstep, all the staff were lovely and super helpful. We were upgraded to a corner room which included a little kitchen and a luxurious bathroom as well as a seating area and a very comfortable bed. We had everything we needed and more.

The hallways had bad air and were smelly due to the air, old mattresses and hotel being animal friendly - not sure if it's cleaned frequently enough. Gym had very minimal equipment - basically a few old cardio exercise machines. The bench for bench-press was very old which had alot of duct tape on the headrest - so it was unusable. They had some dumbbells though - I think until 10 kilograms?...
